2009 Mayor's Cup Award

Announcement of the 2009 Mayor's Cup Award recipient!

John and LeAnda Barnard received the prestigious 2009 Mayor's Cup at the Statesville City Council meeting from Mayor Costi Kutteh. Their Barnard/Lippard Building on the corner of Center and Water St. was constructed of beautiful red brick in keeping with the downtown historic architecture.

Mayor Costi Kutteh presents the 2009 Mayor's Cup to John and LeAnda Barnard following a reception in their new office building.

The original building had been the site of a Buick dealership, then an appliance store and most recently a Western Auto Store. The building was demolished so they could put up a modern building with ageless architecture.
